SIDE TIPPING SHIPS

    MV Ville
        MV Topi
            MV Jopi

The traditional headache for shippers of sea defence materials has always been the last mile to the shore where bathymetric conditions often preclude the use of deep draughted vessels.

The MV's Ville, Topi & Jopi are purpose built self discharging rock carriers whose laden draught of only 2.20 metres  allows access to most locations.

Discharge is effected by four hydraulically operated tipping skips which means that the whole cargo of 500 tonnes can be discharged close to the point of placing in about 20 minutes.
